Nah, i gave up on the idea and ending up getting an onkyo sound system instead of headphones, using a standard xbox wired mic now

I went for the Astro A40 wireless jobbies, only had about 10 mins on bf3 but proper blown away by them. Its almost a totally new game, i can hear stuff thats just not there through the tv.
