Author difference between GSi X16XE and sport X16XE

any difference? anything different with wiring fitting into a X14XE sport?

The bare engine will be the same, all your plugs and sensors should all plug in.

The size of inlet pipe is slightly larger, different air flow meter, diff lambda sensor, throttle body is abit different (where the cable goes to it) I put a c16xe harness and ecu to a x16xe and ran okay once I put the 3pin lambda sensor in

The title only says X16XE. Not C16XE.

My bad, it had gsi in title they come with c16xe, thought that's what it said

there the same just x16xe has bigger ports ur excisting wiring loom of the 1.4 fits i done this when i put a 16 in my couzins sport

dont make the mistake of using the 14xe ecu on the 16xe though, i think it runs but it doesn't run nice

c16xe had a petty few more bhp i believe

C16xe has 109, x16xe has 106, my c16xe ran better without an air filter and air flow meter, had raised rev limit too

No air filter? How long did the engine last you, sucking up all the shit?

Yeah it was chipped jed.... was like that when I bought it

Well it didn't suck up any shit at all, ran fine, never missed a beat... and as far as I know its still running fine
