i take it this is a stupid question and the answer is yes , but i was just wondering as my cars been off the road and im measuring up to fit a roll cage just wondering if it will need to be removed before mot ?

Phone the garage doing the mot and ask them.

It's not part of the test so wouldn't of thought so

That's what i thought but if i was putting my name to an mot and the roll cage wasn't secure, i'm not sure i'd want the responsibility if he prangs it on the way home and a bit pipe takes his head off.

ive taken it out to be on the safe side , it needs to be removed to be fitted properly anyways
