happens all the time - its one of many risks owning a 'modded' car unfortunately - nice car, normally a gimp owner - easy capture in the eyes of some thieving cunts - just gotta have your wits about all the time

Sounds like what happened to me, except my "Police" car didn't have flashing lights.

Guy pulled up and showed a plastic badge because I undertook him as he was doing 40 in a 60 on the outside lane of a dual carriageway.

You should have reached into your pocket and pulled out your middle finger.

That's quite bizarre... only real 'road' trouble I've had involved a wee fiesta following me around - eventually overtook me in a 30 and then slammed on - four guys jumped out and started banging on my doors/windows shouting at me and my ex to get out and hand the keys over... the doors were locked, so I just three point turned and drove away

Now... I realise this isn't anything like the OP story however...

I was driving an Ibiza FR!

crazy eh

How's one persone going to jack a car? Do you think he had his mates in the boot or something - you need a get away driver. Just makes the whole thing even more strange, unless they were prepared to ditch the Volvo for a Seat...

if you read it all, he says he noticed another car following the volvo and that followed every move aswell......... either that or the car following the volvo was going to jack the volvo

Genuinely lol'd at that thought, multi car jacking

Does sound dodgy though, just aswell the guy didn't pull over. If Undercover flash they're lights you're allowed to drive to a local Police station or a place you think is safer aslong as you acknowledge the fact you've seen them. Doesn't mean the Copper won't get pissed off mind you!

Not the same but, I know of somebody who had his CTR nicked. It was brand new at the time. The thieves smashed down the house door, held a knife to him and his girlfriend, then demanded the keys. Once they got the keys, they beat the shit out of him. True story.

If they want it bad enough, they'll be taking it.

as soon as the police confermed it wasnt a police car my foot would have hit the floor and awa i would have went like wouldnt have stuck around to find out what was going to happen or might of happend lol.

my mate had a police immitating kit in his car in the grill (silver corsa B) and a silver vectra went flying past on the A19 so my mate put them on and surly the vectra pulled over and my mate went flying past it is an easy mistake to make if its not a genuin police car

Tbh if he provided the reg number this person would of got caught i assume so anyway because i cant imagine the police leaving it, also if he was driving for like 30 mins surely in that time he could have told police his own reg and location etc and a police car would be up his arse. Sounds made up purely because of that imo

About 3 years back I was a traffic lights in Manc centre at around midnight and a black Beemer pulled up behind flashing headlights. Then 2 geezers got out and headed towards my car so I shot off through red lights and blitzed home. Could have been innocent but didn't want to take chance.

You got closer to being car jack than what the guy in the story did.
