http://www.croftcircuit.co.uk/croft/trackdays.html

it says

Restrictions

"Your vehicle must be a 'normal road going vehicle' i.e. no modifications, with a maximum exhaust noise level of 88dba static at 3/4 revs."

what is ment by where they say no modifications ??? , like are they on about the usual mods u would make to a car to prepair for track , like suspension interior etc ???

or like making it into a pickup or something mad like that ??

dont worry about the no mods stuff... just make sure the car is in good sound condition with nothing hanging off it or loose around it. No leaks etc.

88dB is a tight bastard noise limit :/

Can't see them enforcing that too strongly, I would guess they want to make it road-legal standard without the faff of checking MOTs etc.

Noise limit is very low though.

FUCKS ME OFF, people that move near a racetrack and then have a tantrum when its noisy. Local councils are also quick to stand by the people that raise these issues and cripple the circuits. Isnt the GP circuit at brands only allowed to be used 6 times a year. Insane

I've done croft on a very rare 105db day.

88 is very tight tbh! Fun circuit though

The farmer opposite is a cunt though, last race day I went to watch and on purpose he did his farming shit cutting crops and it just blew dust all over the track for about 2 hours when he was going up and down.

Croft is very tight on noise limits and do enforce them a lot due to having lost of complaints as it sits on the edge of the village. Only a few events they go over the limit and there track sessions have to end at 6pm IIRC so no evening sessions

You can actually rent croft for the day for about a grand. Mates dad did it a few month back, only 7 of them went, so worked out around £150 each, and it is an 88db limit BUT, it doesn't mean the car has to be 88db, it's an average, so basically they have two microphones on track side somewhere which measure the noise level, say in one hour it averages 80db your fine, if it averages 95, they stick a flag out and you wait 10-5 mins until the average has dropped again and go back out.
