Admiral, £400 f/c on a 2004 Transit Connect. 30, no points, full NCB. Van's are stupid expensive to insure.

Have you tried trucks instead or are they not big enough? I was looking at nissan navara's, i got a quote for around £1600. Im 21, put down 3 years no claims, with it signwrited, about 20k miles per year.

I was insured with Aviva on my Berlingo but I had to put the van in my Dads name with his insurance policy & me as named driver and even then it was still £800.

Pay more tax as well, 1.3CDTi Corsa van is commercial rate, about £130 I think while the car is £55, and they are clearly the same vehicle.

I've changed every year, I've used:

Churchill
Yes Insurance
Zenith

and the last 2 years I've taken out a combined traders policy which covers my van too, that's with Allianz.

My old van on a dedicated policy always cost me around the £1500 mark.

I'm 24 and on the van policy have 5 years NCB, as I have my other 6 on my Mini.
