Up for sale is my 2001 Honda Integra DC5 in Championship White.
I’ll start with the basics.
2001 car registered on a 51 plate.
76,000 miles.
MOT’d until September 2012. No advisories from last one.
Tax until Feb 29th 2012. (Registered as PLG so £215 for 12 months)
C Pack options of engine start button, power folding mirrors and rear privacy glass.
The car was a freshly imported from Japan by Mike at Torque GT in September 2010 so I was the first UK owner. There were 96,000 kilometres on the clocks when it arrived (BIMTA certificate to validate this) and the clocks were changed so the odometer total was in miles, which equated to 60,000. Since then it has read up in miles and is currently on 76,000.
I had the car fully serviced in November 2010 by a known Honda specialist in the south-east which included engine and gearbox oil changes, all new filters including fuel and pollen filters and the valve clearances checked. At the time I also had the brakes overhauled which included new OEM Honda Brembo front disks with Project MU HC+ pads and HEL braided brake lines. The pads were sourced from Japan and cost in excess of £200, but they were worth every penny as they’re the best I’ve had in any car, they are literally fade proof.
In the 16,000 miles I have done in the car it has seen 3 full engine oil changes and 2 gearbox oil changes using Honda MTf3.
During my ownership I’ve had both HID ballasts and an o2 sensor replaced under warranty with new genuine Honda parts and a CV boot was also changed at the last service.
Other modifications to the car, other than the brake upgrade include an Injen Cold Air Intake which was fitted brand new in November 2011, Spoon progressive lowering springs, Eibach rear camber arms, Eibach front camber bolts and a Eurospec2000 fast road geometry setup. This makes the car handle even better than it originally did. The turn in is really precise and the grip seems endless. The alloys are Works Emotion CR KAI’s, a Japanese manufactured wheel that is import only. They were freshly refurbished in Novemeber 2011 and had a set of new Falken FK452s fitted at the same time, so both wheels and tyres are as new.
Another important part that was fitted was a replacement seat bolster to the drivers side Recaro seat. These are prone to lose their shape from people getting in and out the car but as you can see in the pictures they’re a-ok.
Apart from the odd mark on the front of the car due to stone chips, and a minor mark on the rear splitter by one of the wheels it really is in excellent condition for its age.
Test drives will only be available to those who can prove they will be covered to drive the car and be fully insured fully comp on it, otherwise I shall be doing the test drive.
Car is located in Kent. Please contact me on 075577 65539 to arrange a viewing.
Please note the below photos are on the old OEM alloys and show a J's Racing backbox which is no longer fitted nor or the wind deflectors.
