will add approx 20hp if set up correctly and can be done for less than 500quid up and running including the inlet manifold.

google bogg bros c20xe r1 carbs.

theres a big guide that total vauxhall mag did on them

cheerz fazza, ive been offered a set of keikhin Bike carbs and ignition system including inlet manifold.. ive been told this is the full setup and ive been offered them for a few hundered quid! is it worth it? and is that the full setup mate?

limited throttle control....

Never driven a bike carbed car but heard they are a big to setup the throttle control.

okay mate, well with what i said previously im just debating weather its worth ir or not? i will get a mechanic or someone to set them up for me so i know there mint. im just edgy about if im buyin everything i need

As AK said its kind of all of nothing. Really nice fast response though if set up well. My old xe which I ran on a coil and fuel regulator was totally standard apart from the carbs and made 181bhp and dis 14.1sec 1/4 miles. So pretty fast of you ask me.

Yeah sounds like there deffo worth having! Might have to bite the bullet any buy them, then see what happens. Thanks for the help lads

built westy on r1 carbs, had few bits done, made 225@fly, peaked at 6.5k nice idle and mid range, easy to setup too.
