Two guys at work showed up this week with new 61 plates at work and after seeing and beibg a passenger in both i have to say that bmw's have grown on me. Well equipped, nice interior & exteriors. the coupe is only £30 per year tax.

my managers looking at a 3 series coupe diesel.

Anyone got one of the above? Positives & negatives?

If you get one you'd have to deal with being physically sick every time you seen the front of it.

New 1 series is the ugliest BMW for many many years.

Love BMW's and having been out in the new 3 series it's nice too apart from the screen randomly shoved in the dash. Look forward to the M Sport and M3

The 1 series looks good in black he got if am honest. seen it in red and looks ugly. the coupe looked good. would love a 3 series.

And putting up with a crap gear change, horrid clutch and no rear paasenger space and leg room. And if you get a new one everybody asking is is that the Hyundai as they are fugly.

I have a 640d MSport cabriolet at the minute. Outrageous car but probably doesn't deserve a £88k price tag

the new 1 series is awful and bulbous looking. it's actually one of the few cars that looks worse in the metal, than in pictures.

it actually makes me think the original 1 series was rather lovely looking.

The bmw X1 is a disgrace as well.
Really like the new 5,3 series though.

Had mine 3 months now,







very comfortable, passenger space is better than the old model. mine is a 118d which is 140ps and drives really really nice,

however, the gearbox has been designed by a buffoon, i crunch gears now and again and im not usually as bad as that!

If i had the choice between the two mentioned id have a 1 series coupe but looking forward to the boss getting whatever 3 series he choses.

3 series coupe will be existing shape, as the new coupe isn't due for another 12-18 months. New 3 series saloon looks very nice though

I think the BMW designers need some credit for this.

To make a car worse looking than the original 1 series must have taken a lot of time and effort.
