Have finally gotten around to ordering a pair of 3D glasses, as I've just received Uncharted 3.
Also have Killzone 3 and GT5 that should both run in 3D.
Who has any experience to share regarding 3D gaming?
Apparently you can adjust the "strength" of the 3D, but it seems there are split opinions whether to go for high or low strength...

Crysis 2 also runs in 3D it seems. Might persuade me to give it another go, as I really never got in to it the first time.
Would be interesting to hear which games people have played in 3D and how it compares to the 2D counterpart?

I tried GT5 in 3D, it was ok but a bit of a distraction.

Played black ops in 3D, gt5 has options to adjust strenght but it calls it parralax which is confusing. Anything over 2 is unbarable with shadowing all over the place.

Pointless as in the effect isn't very pronounced? Or pointless as in it just doesn't add anything to the game?

Both really, it's just shit. You can visually see the difference, it just didn't add anything for me, plus it was just weird with the crosshair right in my face and everything else so distant. Probs cause I was used to playing it standard, it really ruined my plays.

Will GT5 work on PS3 connected to a 55" LED 3D D8000 Samsung TV?!

Yes, can't see why it wouldn't work with any 3D enabled TV.

Couple of hours of Uncharted 3 yesterday and so far I'm not overly impressed.
I usually sit really close to the TV while playing, but the screen is too big to avoid ghosting when the distance is below 5 metres.
After a while I completely forgot about the effect as well, which just left me with the discomfort of the glasses.
No headache though.
The game's fantastic though.
