I'm strugling to find an average priced clutch, But in all honesty i dont want to pay the price of a helix paddle clutch. The engine will be approx 310bhp

At 310bhp, buy the best you can afford, otherwise you will kick yourself when it goes. How much is a helix paddle clutch? Is it less than two of these plus labour? If so, buy a helix.

for the effort it takes to replace clutches, buy the best now.

This type of question along with 'need cheap tyres on my 1000bhp bullshit-a-tron" should be given insta-bans

Very true. Its not that i want to cut corners its just that im not up for throwing loads of money at it at the min as im in two minds wether to sell or not. I think a decent helix paddle clutch is £350

Them ebay clutches are basically painted standard ones, bite the bullet and buy a helix will work out cheaper in the long run.

Helix are decent handle fair bit of torque over what they are rated to. Not that heavy to drive with in town traffic etc really.
