From what I can see the Corsa C 1.7 Dti engine is - Y17DT which comes up as Isuzu.
Some 2003 Astras had that same engine to.

Indeed, rather weird as the C16SE I think was the nova 1.6 8v but it seems the C16SEL is 1.6 16v, maybe a name used in the German market under Opel.

Avoid that era of Renault unless you enjoy electrical faults.

this was in the back of my mind aswell


its a bit of a close call at the moment... very tempting just to hold onto the B for now an reassess my options after summer
