I've some how picked up some shitty email virus where it's latching onto all my contacts and emailing them a link to some crappy make money site. I only have AVG on my computer so can't scan with that. Has anyone else had this??

This happened to me actually. not long ago. I changed my password and nothing more has happened. Really pissed me off though!

i use spybot search and destroy with issues like this works most of the time and its free...

Other than that by the time virus becomes self-aware it will have spread into millions of computer servers all across the planet. Ordinary computers in office buildings, dorm rooms, everywhere. Its software, in cyberspace. There is no system core. It can't be shut down.

Had that for quite a while on my hotmail account. Keep changing the password but still keeps sending these emails.
Worse still, one of my mates opened one of them and it really fucked his PC up.
