From what i have read, it seems there is nothing wrong with the alarm, it depends on the quality of the fitting. I have had mine a year nearly and not had one problem with it *as he touches wood*.

its not the alarm that the prob, its who you get to fit it, anyone without years of experience i wouldn't trust.
i got a clifford 400, although i rate it really well, i'd wanna try a toad. i just bought a toad alarm for the misses last week, there more reliable cos less features = less things to go wrong.

nothing wrong with clifford alarms its the fitters that is the problem...

If you want to do it as cheap as possible then you will get a system that will mess up. Go to the clifford site, look for an approved fitter in your area and pay what ever the cost is.

Simple really if you think it can be done cheaper then do so at your own risk...or buy another alarm.

I know nothing about the cliffords, but the toads are very clever, I ain't heard of or seen one go doo lally and they are greatly priced ,they aint sensitive as much as if a bird lands on the car or a cat u ain;t going to have to go and turn the noisy fooker off at 4am and the installers all have the proper Toad training as far as I know

Anyone in Scotland wanting a toad should phone a cmpany I-mex if they are still around
