Came back yesterday afternoon after spending a few days up there with my wife. On the whole it seems like a nice place, would quite like to go again and see the other parts we didn't have a chance to visit.

As an aside, I do remember why I don't use buses - we got on the number 35 bus to Ocean Terminal from the city centre (we were staying on the Easter Road for those of you that know it) and some nutjob of a woman threatened to punch me in the face because she thought I was laughing at her... All we did was get on the bus and sit down on the seat opposite her FFS. I guess you shouldn't make eye contact with people when you board a bus...

Yes, she ranted that she was from Edinburgh and then started talking really fast and loud - I couldn't understand WTF she was saying

Edit - thinking about it, she's probably a Scottish version of that racist woman from London on the YouTube videos etc., probably didn't like southerners in 'her' country...

Never mind smacking her teeth out, she would have been out her face on smack. Ocean Terminal is at the top of Leith - an absolute shitehole.
