I recently brought a car trailer off ebay few months back now..
I think it is a homemade one but done to a very high standard i only think it is homemade as there are no stamps on it any where? ?
Someone also informed me that dvla are currently clanping down on homemade trailers and seising them straight away off people..???
I dont fancy loosing my trailer so does any one have any ideas what i can do please
Or if i can get my trailer plated (each axle)
Thank you in advaance

They are only seizing trailers that are unfit for the road.
There's no laws that say you can't make your own trailer.
Also it doesn't need to be plated.

there was something floating around about home made trailers made after a certain date had to be tested, but how can you prove when it was made. AFAIK it will have to have a weight plate tho
