Can anyone help ? I changed the egr on my x14xe yesterday and ever since when the car is idling its flucuating between 2 and 3000 rpm, is there a chance I could have caught anything whilst changing the egr as its down the back of the engine ? Thanks

Was it a new egr valve?
That problem is usually icv or afm

Had another look today, inlet manifold gasket had come away, hopefully that sorts it
