Seen a nice manifold, its 2.5" bore.
Is this ok, or would people recommend bigger

SBD say you need a 2 1/2'' system when you fit their throttle bodies. So it's pretty big for a standard XE.

It's will be on about 190hp after the map, would 2.5 be over kill then?

2.5" manifold will be massive, possibly a bit overkill on a nigh on standard engine.
And no way is the standard manifold 2 1/4", the rest of the system is only 2". I would hazard a guess that the standard manifold is less than 2".

Your exhaust system might be 2" but it doesn't mean your right?! I can assure you that a system XE manifold has a 2 1/4" bore.
