Hmmm, not a fan of the 10s looks, that colour aint really my thing either lol. In fact I think its the colour that puts me off it most as theres a few nice blue and white ones on MLR that I wouldn't say no to.

I like the looks of the X but I am not liking the kerb weight of 1600kg. That is lard arse audi land.

You need well over 400 to bring them back to 'weapon' status.

They look awesome in blue and white. that burgandy type colour though is well suited to a more mature gentleman.

Love Evo X's
However have heard some horror stories about them spitting pistons around 20-30k

Love this from the MLR

Well, he is mature. It wouldnt' have been my colour choice anyway.

Only got 300 miles on the clock and full 3 years warranty, so no worries about things going pop.

Yeah I know, this is what I was insinuating.

It is definitely a gentlemans colour

Cant belive the stories about pistons going at that mileage, almost as bad as all the engine isues with the 2008 hatch STi's

I have been to Xtreme (formally Ralliart) on a few occassions where pistons have literally been spat through the lump. Nevertheless, he has himself a stunning and awsome motor there

Did the 9`s do this?

I only ask as I am potentially eyeing up returning to a Ricer later in the year.

The 9s are pretty bullet proof. They also came with the supposidly better mivec engine. A simple map with exhaust and filter and it's knocking on the door of the benchmark 400/400.

No the 9 had a different engine. An FQ360 will map straight to 400/400 no questions asked.

Barnshaw go play with your toys sweetheart, the grown ups are talking about proper cars

Why is it only when talking about Evo's and power figures, its always quoted with the bhp/torque figure??

Never see this when talking about mapping a Golf diesel or the likes, only Evo's.
