Though about suggesting that but they don't feel as well put together as bimmers etc. or at least mine didn't.
Indicator/wiper stalks were awful, felt like they would snap each time you used them

Suppose its an idea, bit small though! But worth a thought.
A4's do seem better value, but then it won't be as good as the BMW obv.

Definetly an E46 convertible. Should get a decent spec'd 325 for that budget or a 330 if they dont mind one a few years older.
