right Ive got a 1.4 sport x14xe (non air-con) and the radiator started leaking. only one i could get cheap enough was from a mate who was breaking his car. his was a 1.6 sport x16xe (with air-con) any way got round to fitting it yesterday no problem straight fit. only difference there is, is at the bottom of the radiator from the 1.6 there is a plug that i cant plug to anything (which i think is something to do with air-con). i cant seem to get my plug to fit in the other hole. does it fit or am i doing it wrong? need to know as soon as possible as my car hasnt got no fan obviously without this plugged in.

If the plug is different for the fan switch, i would put your fan switch in from the old rad.
If that's no good, i would put the fan on a switch.

Or take the rad plug from your mates, chop your rad plug off and solder your mates plug to your loom.
