bought something of ebay for £205 and when the item arrived it was missing a part, messaged the seller no response so i opened up a case against him , he them messaged me back saying that he didnt have the missing part so send it back to him, but how do i go about getting a refund dont want to just send it back (obv would do it tracked) and him not give me the refund, had a look on ebay and paypal and cant find what to do, it just says that if the case is not resolved within 6 days the case will then get decieded ,cheers

Yeah paypal never finds in favour of the seller. You could become an interweb legend if your the first buyer to lose a case.

yeah i'd agree your on safe ground, as suggested ensure you send it back by proof of delivery method. some postal methods have limited value cover so best check that in case it does get lost / damaged and you want cover.
