I was driving down a dual carriageway, 70mph limit, i was doing 90+ and just as i rounded a sweeping corner i saw a police car hiding on the left in a lay-by. I shit myself and waited for him to chase, but no one came. Is it possible they would have got me with a mobile speed camera? Im not even sure anyone was in the cop car!

think they would of pulled you over, and normally the mobile camaras are in the back of a van or something like that!

ok then. I was wondering if they would have one of them hand-held jobbies. But i only ever see them facing INTO traffic, not away.

some police cars have a dash mounted speed checker (VASCAR or summin)... they probably couldn't be arsed chasing you, too much paperwork I guess

It was only a shitty town cop anyway in his Astra. If it was a T5 then maybe i would be standing on the side of the road right now getting handed a producer. Fingers crossed

my mate got caught by a pug 307 cop car, it was sat behind a bush in a lay-by. he thought he was ok coz they never gave chase but they called at his house the next day n showed him photos with the speed he was doing, 3 points and a £125 fine he got
