Alpina V8

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3880632.htm

This one is a perfect example and probably the cheapest way to get in one but the mileage is really high. Must be a great motor

Sorry but the older Monaro's actually looks fucking disgusting

I am not fully up on all this Holden/Commodore malarkey or whatever abomination they are based on but must be a 90`s design looking at it?

I will admit that the VXR does look a lot more purposeful and the body styling at least adds some aggresive lines to the car.

So wrong, love the plain front end of the old ones.

Better than seeing the same boring BMW on every corner.

It's not wrong or right it's just an opinion.

With regards to your comment on BMW's we are comparing that Monaro to a B10 Alpina, hardly the same boring BMW you see on every corner

I know, but I still see more Aplina's a week than Monaro's. I'd rather a Alpina or a Hartge to a normal BM any day.

But I have a CV8 Monaro on my wish list at the moment.
