Would help if you posted the phone/model? Although if it's an iPhone, doesn't iTunes do everything?

Sorry, yeah iphone. It used to, but I can't even see how to anymore, thought it was on the cloud bollocks, but i can only see contacts, mail, find my phone and calendar on it?

For pics and vids, use the cable? I tend to just upload things I need to Dropbox as I don't carry the cable around with me.

Two options.
1. Just plug it in and usb it like a usb drive.
2. If its jailbroken just FTP into it and copy the stuff off

I was trying to avoid moving 20gb worth of shit via usb cable, but it did it overnight. Happy Days.
One downside is, my phone replaced all the apps i have paid for and deleted over the years, absolute pages of them!
