driving through wigan tonight and got pulled for speeding and and they had no proof but they started being dickheads with me saying that my bonnet is dangerous becuse its lifted up at the rear any thoughts and is it

sharp edges perhaps
well not sharp but depends how they perceive it i guess. I've not had that problem and I've been pulled over loads with bonnet like it is.

the police in wigan are twats mate, pulled numerous times when i used to knock about. I got pulled just for being out at half 2 with two of my mates lol

They were dickheads in wigan when I was younger. Nothing better to do. I've not been round there at night for nearly 4 years now.

same happened to me in wigan was out about 3 in morning with two mates got pulled by some wannabe traffic cops  they was dickheads and did not like the fact i was all legal and above board.

Did he give you a vehicle rectification notice for the bonnet? If not it can't be that dangerous. Sounds like he just wanted to make an excuse for pulling you that wasn't you're young and out driving a modified Corsa on a Saturday night.

I thought it would of been safer raised at the back
Example being the gtr that raises its own bonnet in a crash
I know thats because its too low in the first place but.... Wouldnt the same theory count?

Had that loads of times when I was younger, was usually searched for drugs etc too. Wrote my local station a letter in the end as it was getting ridiculous.

Only been pulled twice in my life, once because i overtook a car coming off a roundabout in my Corsa. and another for supposedly "tanking it" in a 1.3 mk2 golf.
Rest of the time they never catch me

he gave me no paper work mike he said i had ill fitting panels and at the rear beacuse i had the rear bumper off the day before and i have to tke it off again i didnt put it back on proper just tie rapped on lol so would you not bother with putting it back down just lift it higher i no i am lifting the mate s14 one tomoro lol

I've never had any problems with Wigan Police, and I used to be a delivery driver, so was driving round late and usually hooning it most nights. Only ever got pulled once and that was cos my brake light switch had broken so the lights weren't working.
