I've been in nearly every day for the last few weeks. It's fucking shit. Most of my customers in London know it'll be a struggle.
I meant Stratford.
I was talking to a train driver at Stratford the other day, said they've built 2 new platforms there but there's no chance that they'll cope with the Olympics
At which station?
Stratford

So not International then. The train driver must have been a bit special. They built a new station in International and added the DLR. Bit more then 2 new platforms. Plus they'll be seeing 12 trains an hour in peak period. They handled 10 times more passengers last year then the year before. Somehow I think they'll cope just fine. Not to mention there are 6 stations within 1.5 miles of the park (inc. underground).

Train driver will know best though, his union rep/boss will have sprouted some bullshit to him saying otherwise.

As Nath Has said, they've created a whole new part of the line to get into stratford which i barely see anyone on at the moment when i come to work so would imagine it would cope fine.
Especially with companies arranging for people to work from home/alternate shift patterns.
Can see people missing events due to signal problems though

I'm also not too fussed about the olympics, and it's not due to being bitter about not getting tickets.
