In need of a new Sat Nav as my tom tom one has broke.

Need one that will last and can be used everyday and which is easy to use.

Also are there any good deals out there at the minute?

Seems a good offer. Id go with TomTom, easy to use and simple enough.

Dad's got a Garmin and its shite, dont understand it, randomly bleeps at you all the time etc. Pain in the arse.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Can't go wrong with tomtom, I've got a tomtom but I used my girlfriends dads newer tomtom last week and it was really good similar to that one, the thing I liked about it was when your coming to a junction it actually tells you the name or the road that you need to go on to

Already have a Tom Tom one version 3, Been good just now its not holding any charge, goes off when it feels like it (Usually just as you need to know where to go!) and keeps falling off the windscreen.

Will have a look at them, Anyone have any experiences with the Garmin and the snooper ones, as a lot of lads at work have the snooper one.

the last Garmin i used didn't even have 7 digit postcode search.
Unsure if this has been updated, but they were also much more complicated.
Can't comment on Snooper having never owned or used one.
