its a valve near the rear or the car that when the boot is fully loaded the car sits down at the back. yes? with me . well when you lower the car the vavle thinks the boot is full.

the valve tellls the rear brakes how hard to brake .
so if it isnt adjusted when the car is lowered you hit the brakes the rear will lock up
it easy to adjust

But of course, these dont exist on the Gsi, because they all have ABS
