Anyone on here dabble in a scrap metal?

Just wondering what the going rate is for a scrap car just now. Was offered £90 for a complete vectra B a few weeks ago from the local chancer. Called him up there to pick the car up and its gone down to £50

Was offered £185 off cartakeback.com , - but i stay to far away for them to collect

i scrapped a corsa b a few months back and got 165 for it

scrap guy around by me hes only paying 120 a car as the scraps down the now

scrapped a old n plate toledo last week and got £150, got £180 for a old honda civic the week before yet £80 for a mondeo now lol

this car take back website is worth a look quoting 135 for a corsa b. shame i stay to far away from it!

Not sure on the price by you but its on the way down by me, £120/ton last time and I would guess probably less than that now.
