Hey guys,

One thing I have always wanted is a set of banded steels. Now that I have a car I can finally get some and put them on, well when I get the funds together! Before I do I need some advise. Which would look better on a corsa B 13" banded steels or 15" banded steels? Just that I have 13" steels kicking around and have found they are cheaper to get banded. However, I don't know if they will look too small.

Also one other thing, how wide should I go? I won't a decent poke but not so much that I get pulled on every outing!

Any opinions welcome, thanks!

Or even 14" banded steels. Any pictures would be a great help!

If you go for 13s i have some wide weller 13s (not banded originally made like that), with tyres for sale

Would anyone know how wide I should go with 13" wheels? I want a decent amount of poke, but nothing too extreme!

i ran banded steels on mine a while ago.
they were 14" with 7.5j at front and 8.5j at the back the car was very low which ment i was scrapping everywhere so if i was you id go for 15s.

and depending on what brakes you have on your car 13" wheels may not fit over the brakes

Thanks for the advise bud! The only reason I would go for 13s is that they work out to be £120/£140 cheaper than 15s. Which helps as I don't have a great deal money to spend you see.

If I were to band 15s how low could I sit? I'm hoping to be rubbing the ground, but not the arches :L
