I've advertised my car on the bay yesterday, and some guy with a feedback score of 7 has 'bought it now' but in the meantime I've been txting a guy who sounded very promising to come view it and possibly buy it on Sunday.

Question is, am I truly legally bind to sell it to this guy who bought it on eBay? Is there anything he can do apart from leave negative feedback for me?

I know it's a bit of a crap thing to do but this guy is now saying he's coming to view and very possibly buy it tonight..

If someone came to view the car you're selling with cash in his hand outside of eBay despite someone on eBay 'winning' it, would you consider it a first come, first serve thing?

Providing you had mentioned on the Ad that it was advertised elsewhere and you reserve the right to end the auction early you should be fine.

Ah..

Thats the one thing I never mentioned :\

I've opened a case to cancel the transaction about selling it outside of eBay. Hopefully the guy will accept!

It was BIN type sale, no auction.. no option to cancel! Either way like you say, the guy is coming tonight with money. Not gonna turn him down for some potential eBay time waster.

I have, twice. Which is making my suspicions of him being a time waster even more evident lol

Hate doing BIN listings for cars as there is too much potential for agro.

Sell Tito the guy who shows up, if the other guy gets in touch say you've sold it to a guy who showed up saying he'd won it on eBay
