hi i currently have a 1.2 merit and been offered a 1.4 block as need to do the hg any will this fit?

plus if your head gasket has gone then its the head that might need replaced not the block

I no this just wanted to no as been offered the block from a 1.4 8v engine only being used as a run around while skyline off the road
