Might take photos of the car and the money to share with this corsa forum
You could get a cracking watch for £9k

There are no portfolio managers on CS. Just people that sell drugs and give it the big un about their lifestyles

Bit plain and dull looking watch, tbh...
Why did you not buy a cool one like the Freelancer?

It's a subtle Rolex, and to be fair everybody in their lifetime should own a real one

I have not the slightest interest in owning neither a rolex nor such boring a watch.
A Rolex is what my dad would buy if he felt like a flashy watch, because he wouldn't know any other brands.
To each their own of course, it just seems to me like buying a high end car that looks like a Punto. Personally I'd want the full package...

Aye you're right, but at the same time, they do hold their value unlike something a little more understated which is a bonus if he wanted to change it in 12 months.
Definately woulnd't have been my choice for <£4k.

But if he didn't get a Rolex, he wouldn't be able to say he has a Rolex?
I personally think most Rolex watches are hideous. I'm sure they tell a damn good time though.

Nope, doubt I'll ever have one either.
Useful for telling people you have a rolex and not much else.

But John, do you find something like the one you posted on page 1 more interesting? Because I honestly don't. That one even looks like a cheap ladies watch.
Again, something like the Raymond Weil I posted on page 2 looks like it costs a fortune to make.

I meant the brand more than the aesthetics.
