Mines only been in 3 months ish from full engine rebuild, so I cleaned up loads when rebuilding, but I use meguires engine clean, and engine dressing to keep clean and meguires metal polish on my polished bit, it's very good stuff imo

Would they do that?Would be wanting the engine cover and timing belt cover paint too.

I'll ask them for you, I had my belt and cover done at a different place thou, this was my engine when I got it, I stripped it down to bare block, replaced everything internallyand gave a clean n paint etc.. Was expensive but worth it in the end! I'd just recommend taking time on it really, took me a good 6 months to do mine
