The power button has stopped working on my iPhone 4, it's 18months old so guessing its out of warranty lol. Does anyone know if it's just the button at fault and is it worth fixing? Apple proberblly want a stupid amount to fix it so not even contacted them to be honest

Then it dies Phone cable turns it on / off in my world.
And the option to lock the phone is constantly on the screen, whatever menu / app is on.

Think I could get by without it working as I always need it, is there an app to lock the screen as such because the stupid auto lock takes a minute. Running out of battery is the only problem I can see as I won't be able to turn it back on haha

Go to settings > General > Accessibility > Scroll down to AssistiveTouch, turn on.
A circle appears, you can move it anywhere on screen, i have mine on the right, one under as high as it can go. You rarely touch that bit of the screen i've found
To lock, press it, press device, and then lock screen.
You'll get used to it been there.
