I remember the chaps who did the Gumball in one, that wasn't too shy either 300bhp+ and 500ft-lb+ iirc
It did have New turbo, clutch etc though to cope with it.
When they first used it, in 2004 it was circa 250 bhp with a different cat, exhaust and Map. I remember reading somehwere that this was pretty much the limit with everything being 'stock'. There is a video where its sat on the rear of a 355 and you can hear the ferrari go through its gears hard.

Blimey cant complain with that, double the mile's. I want a diesel next looking at the astra SRI 1.9 feel its more grown up then a Corsa C SRI just finding a decent one is proving difficult

My mate had an early 330d with the 184bhp engine, and even that wen't like a scalded rat. Can't even imagine how this must feel with the remap.
His also returned amazing MPG. Got abuse 9 times out of 10, and it was still doing over 40mpg. Only problem he ever got with it was the diff mount bushes needed replaced. Other than that it was as reliable as a swiss watch.

I give mine a good bit of abuse trying to drift like a pro quite a lot, few dual carriageway races etc still get an average of 480 to a tank round the town and work. Quite glad I didn't pay more for a similar age vectra.
