Thought I might as wel update this, the modding bug has started.
Have purchased a Hondata Flashpro to remap the stock ECU now which I am having etuned (risky I know). Had to go out and do a datalog for the tuner after work and found a really decent spot for some pictures so would be rude not to.

I really regret not getting a flash pro for mine. Supposed to totally transform the car with a good map

I ran the Group N map for a bit (vtec at 3800rpm) but everyone who has had it tuned to the car say it is far better so thought i'd give it a go. Only engine mods are a HKS RSK filter.

Can pick these up pretty cheap now, I was wondering why it had a later spec bumper with the headlight washers, do they work or is it because the person who repaired it sourced a cheap bumper

I didn't like these until I sat in the passenger seat of one. Love them!
Be interested to see a project thread for the car.

Looks well, although those wheels won't help the handling - they are defo the option for all the older people who seem to own them because its the 'top of the list' option Civic. All of them confused when i put my thumbs up at them as i drive past. Yea, you would notice a difference with some smaller wheels - especially if you start playing with the suspension.
Exhaust manifold is also a big gainer with a remap. Something like the Kpro's seem to be the business with the DC5's for the ECU. Where you dropping the crossover to?

Been repaired with the late spec hid headlights as well which is good, however the washers don't work unfortunately.

I find the handling ok tbh, easily as good as my old EP3 for how I drive the car.
I had K100 on my EP3 with exhaust manifold and different inlet and made 250bhp so they clearly work well with bolt on bits. Keeping a standard exhaust system this time though as its nice to have a quiet car for once. Going to have crossover about 4.5k rpm like on my old car.

Happy days. The experience of the ep3 means you have a good idea of what's what too so that's a bonus. enjoy
