Feel for your missus John, when did the stretch marks start and has she been using oil at all? My other half is 15 weeks and using bio oil every day and she's praying for no stretch marks.

She had none till about 32 weeks and then it all let go at once, probably due to her frame tbh
we were at the hosp about 3 hours, blood tests, monitoring the baby etc.
Midwife says its common and the baby is fine, also pointed out it will get worse. She has been given piraten which has relieved a lot of the itching... 2 nights sleep in a row.
the rash that was spreading is all over her body now. Like hives/nettle stings

Poor love - as much as its shitty now its so worth it in the end! It will be worse, they grow the fastest in the last 2/3 weeks, and believe me you can feel it!
Lee if a lady is going to get them she'll get them no matter how moisturised her skin is.
