Exactly. Missed a trick there, there all worth 3-4x what they were.

Same with lancia delta evo worth a small fortune now when you used to be able to pick them up for 4-5k

MK3 GSi...

Always wanted one and probably should of got one instead of ploughing so much in to the Corsa, live and learn. Ended up driving one when my brother bought a nice tidy one last year, wasn't bad but after driving my S3 for four years a J Reg Astra was a bit of a let down

Have a read about Harry Metcalfs Countach in Evo. Apparently you can get some reasonable power steering kits and removing half the throttle return springs helps no end.

Deffo an escort cosworth . got offered an imperial blue one off a lad I bought a gsi shell off at 16. Was immaculate and he only wanted 7k . I prob will buy one but it's hard finding a decent low mileage stock one for less than 15k

Also, despite the negativity on here, I've always wanted a mk4 Astra GSI in blue or black.

For some reason I've always thought they were stunning cars.

That's a very good shout. My dads had 2 309gtis and loved them but finding a goodwood is very difficult. One with a gti6 engine conversion would do me.
