For example, a couple i know have just split up, they have worked everything out. He is giving her £300 a month CSA kinda payment. Then after all her bills etc etc, she is left with around £600 a month for anything she wishes.
I wish i had £600 a month left over, better still if i didnt have to lift a finger.
She has that much spare, she is thinking about renting a better house and paying the extra £125 a month out of her leftover cash.

I completely agree with you. But whining in good old fashion british tradition isn't going to get you anywhere. It'll just turn you into a bitter old man.

Come to Norwich for a night out and you will be shocked at drink prices.

A Lot has changed in past 10 years, its a very expensive area to live now behind London and the SE.
I am not sure what drinks prices are like in Gorleston (where Dan lives) but a lot of houses on the sea front are 450-600k
Guess things stick like the Skoda jokes and uhm.... wankgate
