took my gearbox off today and noticed the bit the driveshafts slot into were moving about a bit, also noticed an oil leak that turned out to be a hole in the casing so removed it so i could clean it all up and sort the hole, took the bottom cover off to drain the oil and while turning the big gear under the cover one of the driveshaft gear bits fell out? are they supposed to be like that? pretty sure when i had my other one open before they weren't this loose?
heres a pic to show what i mean

the 2 gears were really loose and would move round the middle pin, even managed to get both of them out, is that normal?

i think that's normal mate - those gears are held in by the shafts when they're pushed into the box.
