Hi Guys,
Has anybody got any experience of octane booster in vauxhall engines, my mate recons he is using octane booster in his 1.2 corsa and is getting extra BHP by using shell optimax and octane booster to get his fuel up to 101 octane !!

my brother got some for free one time so he tryed it and it didnt make a different to his 1.2

Even if you did get a couple more bhp out of it, you really aren't going to notice with a 1.2 Corsa. It'll be a complete placebo.

i use optimax and octane boost in my astra coupe, its faster than a monaro now

Coupled with the magnets that clamp on your fuel pipes and a vortex inlet your 1.2 should keep up with XE's

I remember reading a review where they tested some of these products on a rolling road and i think nearly all of them decreased the engines power by a couple bhp.
There just a load of shite really.
