May be a sillly question but can you get CD-R/Ws with more memory on than 700mb (not DVD-R/W as havnt got DVD Writer), maybe 800mb or someting.

Thing is, all the movies i have downloaded are stuck on my PC and too big for CD (700-800mb). Also i can't lend them to anyone.

i think you can overburn and get 800mb on a good cd

Can you split a movie (.avi) and put it on two discs??? How do you do that then??

u cud use a split program to put it on 2 discks but u wud need to rejoin it again for it to work
I can get a small program that can do that if u want it tmrw?
And yes you can overburn but only by 10-20MB if u r lucky

yer i remember a site that did 700mb, 800mb and 900 mb cd's. Can't remember the link now tho. Try a websearch.
