just been browsing through ebay and saw a road legal quad near me with a q plate on it, ive not seen a q plate in ages i didnt think they still got used ? its a ram200 quad if that is any help ???
can anyone shed any light on this ?

Probably registered post delivery and the year of manufacture/import can't be accurately determined

More than likely registered as aggricultual vechile there for has a q plate , check you can insure it first before u buy it as u can only use it on a farm or a certain distance from it , check first as i maybe a bit wrong

Sounds like it - there are limits applied to agricultural vehicles but they relate to the tax class and whether you run on red diesel.

The number plate relates to the initial registration of the vehicle and not the class of usage.

On something like a quad, it wouldn't put me off buying it if everything else was in order

thats what i was thinking lee. not like you can hide anything on them , as you can see everything on them
