Bought some used springs and there was only a little bit of surface rust on them but me being picky thought id rub them down and prime them up to protect them a little bit and ive just found whilst doing the priming its basically impossible to get a even finish around 100% of the spring? Any tips or tricks just to help? I know it doesnt have to be perfect and no one sees them but im intrigued?
Thanks
Chris

think the only way they get an even coat from factory is they are dipped in the paint opposed to to sprayed ?

I would have thought something flexible would be better as they are constantly moving.
