I had NS2's on my old V6 Mk3 GSi and never had any issue's in the wet or dry that i can remember.

Alot of the "scene" guys run them on wide wheels as they stretch pretty good. So if they are good enough for that, then they will be good enough for an average joe in his/her road car.

Tyres are the last thing that make contact with the road, if they were really as bad as what they are made out to be, they would have been discontinued long time ago.

Guy over on SVAG, from North Ayrshire, is selling a set of wheels, with 2 x new NS2's, and 2 x as new NS2's fitted to them, for £120.

Run Nankang NS2's on my Ronal Turbos 165/50/15 and have no problems.

Also run Nankang AS1's on my Lenso's which are 165/45/15 and they are just as good.

They aren't exactly a budget tyre, more of a mid ranged and they are good. People just blame them for their poor driving haha.

Drearful tyres, had some NS2's on a 206 GTi I aquired. Were awfull wet or dry.

Seriously not sure how anyone could rate them.If you are going Budget/mid level stick with Khumo or the like. £200 for a full set of 17's they are deffo going to be Ditch finders unless you find some part worns.

They actually are a budget tyre. Terrible compound compared to various other cheap never heard of before Chinese tyres. They are definitely nowhere near a mid range tyre. They make sizes that are odd, therefore they kinda hold the market that way. Proper brands and mid range stuff isn't available in these sizes hence people saying they're not that bad, as there is extremely limited choice in typical stretch sizes etc.

You get what you pay for but at the same time the majority of people will never ever need expensive tyres as inner city and urban commuting will never need the best. More to do with how many miles they last. That said I'd always choose to spend a fiver more and get something other than a nankang, personally.

He doesn't follow me he stalks me. I don't appreciate his input he is an arrogant prick, even more so in real life since he bought that bloody evo.

My Toyo's were miles cheaper than Nankangs and they're a damn sight better tyre as well.
