Bought a Clutch Claw http://www.centinel.org.uk/clutch_claw.asp from a seller on ebay to protect my land rover a little better. He listed it as used even tho hes a full time ebay seller.
I won the item at £70 +£7 delivery, which i thought was better than paying £100 for a new one as its gonna do the same job right?
He listed it as universal fitting, which they are when new because they come with all the fittings and fixings and spacers and you adjust it to how you want it to fit. I paid paypal soon as i won the item and it came next day which was cool.
I opended it up and thought something was missing but then tried it on my vehicle it wouldnt fit, so i called my friend who has one and he talked me through it, we discovered it was missing the spacers which were essential fit it to fit correctly on my vehicle.
I messaged the seller that day askin for them he said you dont need them it fits all vehicles.
So i asked him for a refund as it wont fit my vehicle and he tries telling me im an impulisve buyer? (all i want is the fucking thing to do the job its intended for)
I open up a dispute with ebay the and explain everything how he didnt not state it was missing any parts etc, he then starts to shit himself a bit but is still not going to refund me.
I then call the manufactuer of clutch claw and they were great they offered my the spacers £15 delivered. So in the dispute i contact the seller to agree something that saves him a full refund and keeps me happy. All i asked was for £15 as opposed to £70, and he said yes thats fine aslong as you leave me positive feedback first. So i thought everyones a winner here im happy hes happy jobs a good un.
I leave positive feedback, but no refund and he keeps replying to disputes "sorted"
Its driving me mad im not bothered about the £15 tbh i just dont want this prick to get away with it. I wish i had left negative feedback now? Spoke to ebay they said i cant change feedback to negative but i can do a follow up feedback.. is there anything i can do or have i been shafted?
Sorry for essay folks i know its only petty just wanted to get it off my chest and see if anyone else ever had a similar encounter

You can get them to remove feedback as I managed to do this, gotta do it through one of those live chat sessions with eBay if I remember correctly.

Ebay are a bunch of cunts and most of the people on Ebay are a bunch of cunts as well.

In fact most people trading on the internet are a bunch of cunts. Currently dealing with on at the moment who thought he'd have an engine on try before you buy and is now giving me the silent treatment.

Someone else today as well - asked me what would be safer for him.

Safe indeed, this isn't a walk down some alleys at night time.

I hate being trustworthy and being treated like I'm not.

Just remove feedback or remove so i can change to negative?

I feel like making a random ebay account in a random email and buying all his items and not paying

I done this to a fella who I bought a "as new dryer" off got it home an after ten mins it sounded like a train and didn't dry nothing, took it back to him and after an hour blocking his drive during the school run he finally refunded me, he listed it backin eBay again "as new" so I won it on a false account and agreed to pick it up the Saturday at 11am, 5 days after winning, rang him at 12 and said I was going to be around 1, he rang me at 2 asking how long I was goin to be I said about an hour im still stuck in work can you wait for me, he agreed and by 4 he said to pickit up Sunday. I told him 2pm and never bothered answering after that

Can we stay within the law please, you're treading a very fine line between being pissed off and actively harassing the guy and whether its illegal or not, it'll cause me some problems if this thread forms part of the investigation.
