Been looking for a while, nothing has really come up but about a week and a half ago, something in the right price range did.

So, it a 3 bed semi, backs onto a field, in a quiet cul de sac which is desirable, has a decent sized kitchen, seperate dining room, blah blah.

Best of all though, it has a double length garage!

Managed to get it for £7.5k less than the asking price, after making a stupid offer (£20k less lol), then making a second offer at 10k less and pretty much refusing to budge!

No pics yet but I'll try to get some on Saturday.

It's how you have to be, I've always offered daft, first time I saved 24k and second time 8k . It's a buyers Market and end of the day if they wasn't bothered about selling it they wouldn't have it up for sale.

You didn't save 24k or 8k, you bought it for what it was worth.

To be fair, I don't disagree, I wasn't willing to pay more for it, however, someone else might have been, like I say, it's a desired road in an expensive village.

Still, I'm happy with the price and wouldn't have been happy at asking price, that's te key.

I saved 24k and 8k on what they had it up for sale at . Which was advertised at current market value . So i hope i cleared it for the slow one making comments when they dont know the difference between what the property is worth and what a buyer was prepared to pay

Totally forgot to get pictures lol.

Erm, I am currently dragging my heels as the woman said if we dragged it out til Xmas (which we need to) she wanted 2.5k more and now she's saying the one she's buying from are still trying to find a house!

Obviously this means we have more rent to pay and that 2.5k would pay that.

That and she wants to take the shed...

I'm buying a house in Denton atm. It's been a utter ball ache to get to exchange but hope to be exchZnfed in the next few days. I can't understand how badly solicitors and estate agents do there jobs.
