Does anyone know anything about shares?

Reason for asking is that my Nan has 1500 shares in Santander, she sadly passed away and we've not clue what to do with them.
Not a clue what they're worth, can anyone shed any light for us?

Thanks.

I suppose you need to know what price she bought them at and then think about cashing them in to make maximum profit from her investment..

88p per share. Yearly high/low is like 90p/84p.

Unless you want to keep for years, probably worth selling

She was probably given them years ago.

She was given/bought them years & years ago..

So if we wanted to sell, we'd get 88p per share?

There is some paperwork required to transfer them in to your name if they are given to you in the estate.

At that point you could transfer them in to a self dealing account if you so wished or just sell them.

There will be a transaction fee to sell but no stamp duty payable on the sale.
